It is our first visit since we moved to the area. We stuck to the basics..and ordered the beef fajitas. The only thing is that we would prefer the onions and peppers be cooked a bit longer. Other than that..it was very good.
The barbacoa tasted mildly rancid, I couldn't even finish it. The rice was bland and the chips were meh at best. Don't stop here.... I don't care if you haven't eaten in a week, keep driving. Not to mention the dead roach, which may have passed from consumption of the food, that was hanging from the bottom of one of the picture frames.
Food is usually good. Salsa is the best! Some times the service sucks. One young waitress in particular will never check on you. She gets ur drink order, brings ur chips and salsa, brings it drinks and gets food order, brings food. That's the last time you see her. She will not check to see if you need drink refill or more chips or salsa or anything....
I tried the Pollo Ranchero. It has Chile con queso sauce on the chicken, comes with rice and beans and a couple of flour tortillas. Very tasty. My husband had the Sonora Plate with one beef and one chicken enchilada, rice, and beans.
Very good service. Great portions. Great little stop. Definitely comin back.
